Elizabeth Connor, APR is the Director of Communications at the National Aviation Heritage Area where she works with 15+ aviation site partners to preserve and promote aviation heritage. The National Aviation Heritage Area is an eight-county region, designated by Congress to make the Dayton region the recognized global center of aviation heritage and a premier destination for aviation heritage tourism sustaining the legacy of the Wright brothers. Through public relations, community engagement, marketing and management, Elizabeth helps bring the region economic growth and positive change.
Elizabeth was named the 2019 Emerging Leader by the Ohio Travel Association and won the 20202 State’s Finest RUBY Award. She earned her public relations accreditation in 2019 with her work in sustainable air travel.
Elizabeth holds her Masters of Nonprofit Management from Carnegie Mellon University and has worked in museums and tourism throughout the globe since 2008.
