Julie B. Fix, APR, Fellow PRSA, is president/principal of Fix & Associates, Inc. Public Relations, an independent consulting firm. Retired from the Valenti School of Communication at the University of Houston after 20+ years of teaching crisis communications, writing, strategic communication and campaigns courses, she has also presented workshops and webinars on writing, APR prep, crisis communication and other topics throughout her career. She is past Chair of PRSA’s College of Fellows and a frequent contest judge.
