Andrew has 10 years of public-sector experience with the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development and the Utah Office of Tourism. He came to the Office of Tourism in 2013 as a content creator and subsequently served as content strategist, editorial lead and his current role as the creative and content director. Prior to joining the state of Utah, Andrew worked with Salt Lake City-based non-profits Local First Utah and the Healthy Environment Alliance of Utah and wrote freelance for local publications Edible Wasatch, Business in Utah, Utah CEO and FilmUtah. Andrew believes deeply in the power of place-based storytelling to motivate good, inspire advocacy, change behavior and attract the right attention. His leisure time is consumed by running with podcasts, hiking with doggos and camping throughout Utah. He truly unplugs while cooking, oil painting and gardening.
