Elaine Glusac

Elaine Glusac is the Frugal Traveler columnist for The New York Times travel section and a freelance writer. Among her many awards, she was named Travel Journalist of the Year in 2019 by the Society of American Traveler Writers. She is based in Chicago and also writes for AARP, AFAR, the Chicago Tribune, Conde Nast Traveler, National Geographic Traveler, Travel + Leisure and Virtuoso Life.
