Ken Inchausti

Ken Inchausti, Novo Nordisk’s Senior Director of Corporate Communications, is the company’s chief spokesperson interfacing with the media and external publics in the United States. He manages numerous reputational efforts in traditional and social media to expand key stakeholders’ understanding of Novo Nordisk’s commitment to patients struggling with serious diseases like diabetes, obesity and hemophilia. During his time, Ken has led PR and communications for several company efforts such as the debate on insulin pricing and affordability, renewed corporate branding and storytelling and launching Cities Changing Diabetes in Houston. He joined Novo Nordisk in 2010 and has more than 25 years of healthcare public relations experience, spanning the pharmaceutical, hospital/health system, consulting and non-profit sectors.

Prior to joining Novo Nordisk, he served in global and U.S. corporate communications and public relations roles at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).  He led communications efforts launching cancer medications and drove issues management surrounding oncology medicine pricing. He served on a leadership team responsible for integrating two biotech companies into GSK’s vaccines business. At that time, he led North American public affairs and internal communications as a part of the integration. Finally, he worked in R&D communications, providing strategic counsel and support to the company’s neurosciences pipeline.

His experience also includes leading strategic communications efforts at Premier, Inc., a hospital group purchasing organization, consulting healthcare clients at Fleishman Hillard, and working at the national office of the American Diabetes Association. 

A graduate of Old Dominion University, Ken lives in Bernardsville, NJ.
