With expansive public relations experience in live events, Vanessa Kromer oversees music and entertainment publicity for SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater and Hollywood Park a 300-acre world-class sports and entertainment destination in Inglewood, California. 

Home to the World Champion Los Angeles Rams, and Los Angeles Chargers, SoFi Stadium hosted Super Bowl LVI, the 2023 College Football National Championship game, WrestleMania 39 and will host the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2028 Olympic Games. 

Kromer is responsible for creating and executing entertainment PR campaigns and driving media relations for live events, as well as collaborating with the wider team on company-wide initiatives. Since opening SoFi Stadium in 2021, Kromer and the team have managed over thirty non-NFL events with 3.6 million fans and 112 events at YouTube Theater with over 450,000 fans. Most recently, Hollywood Park hosted its first music festival, Rolling Loud California, which yielded three sold-out days headlined by Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Future, and special guest Lil Wayne. 

This year, SoFi Stadium will host a record year of concerts with artists such as Romeo Santos, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Morgan Wallen, Twice and Beyonce. Plus, YouTube Theater will host emerging artists, creators, comedians, and icons at the 6,000-seat theater. 

Previously, Kromer worked for Nederlander Concerts, an independent concert promoter and venue operator. There she managed publicity for artists who played Nederlander’s core venues and provided strategic counsel for the company. In 2020, Kromer helped launch Nederlander’s Drive-In OC series at the City National Grove of Anaheim, raising Nederlander’s profile amid the novel coronavirus pandemic. The series featured over 65 live events, grossing $4 million dollars, and garnering more than 20 million media impressions, including the Wall Street Journal and CBS Morning News.  

Currently, Kromer is involved with Diversify The Stage’s Concert Coalition, and chairs the Event & Arena Marketing Conference’s awards program, which is the live entertainment industry’s preeminent conference in the country. She served as President, Vice President of Agenda and is a former Board Member for the annual conference. Additionally, she is a committee member for the Special Olympics Southern California chapter. From 2011-2017 Kromer was on the Board of Directors for Music for Relief, a non-profit organization founded by two-time Grammy-winning/multi-platinum rock band Linkin Park, which provided aid to victims of natural disasters. 

Kromer was awarded the Gigi Award of Excellence in 2022 by the Event & Arena Marketing Conference and inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013. In 2012, she received the “Women of Influence” award by Venues Today Magazine, plus made LA Confidential’s “List” for being a person to know in Los Angeles.

Before Nederlander Concerts, Kromer worked for Rogers & Cowan, a leading entertainment public relations firm in the Consumer, Sports, and Entertainment division. There she supervised media campaigns for a variety of high-profile events garnering national media attention, including the unveiling of Wheaties Fuel (2009), the re-launch of The Fantanas for Coca-Cola (2009), and Captain Morgan for President (2008), among others. Kromer started her career at the Honda Center in the box office and worked her way up to Public Relations/Marketing Coordinator. From there, she opened Staples Center (now Crypto.com Arena) as the Public Relations Manager and coordinated publicity for several marquee events, including the 2000 Democratic National Convention and the NBA Los Angeles Lakers Championship games and parade (2000 and 2001).
