Timothy Penning, Ph.D.

APR, Fellow PRSA

Timothy Penning, PhD, APR, Fellow PRSA is currently the co-chair of the PRSA APR Committee. He has taught public relations full-time for 20 years and continues to consult in public relations. He previously worked in public relations at a community foundation, a university, and an NGO. He credits earning the APR for the success in his transition from journalism into public relations. He has served as a chapter APR director and coach, on the national APR committee for four years, and published research on the various reasons professionals seek APR.
