Brad Ritter
In today’s social media-intensive world, how organizations and their leaders react to opportunities and threats can be just as important as the response itself – sometimes even more important. Being a spokesperson has never been tougher, no matter the story. That’s why so many major U.S. and international companies and industry associations, including Honda, A&W Restaurants and Coca Cola companies, call on Brad Ritter to conduct media and crisis training for their executives, field teams and other spokespersons.
A former television reporter, anchor and producer, Brad now trains spokespersons for every type of media and social media encounter, including one-on-one interviews, live and taped satellite media tours, Facebook Live feeds and press conferences. He also helps professionals prepare for video appearances, public speaking engagements and conference calls. He has trained clients before interviews with such media as The Wall Street Journal, CNN, CNBC, ABC’s World News Tonight and Business Week, as well as scores of local and industry media outlets.
Following a 15-year career as a TV reporter and anchor, which included appearing on CNN and ABC’s Good Morning America, Brad joined a leading Midwest public relations agency where he developed the firm’s media and presentation training program. He also created the presentation coaching program for one of the nation’s largest independent media production companies. Among the five percent of public relations professionals accredited by the Public Relations Society of America, Brad launched Ritter Communications in 1999.
