Cheryn Robles, APR is the Environmental Affairs Administrator for the City of New Orleans, Office of Resilience and Sustainability. She is currently leading the team redeveloping the Agriculture St. Landfill Superfund Site, which has been a contentious environmental justice issue for the City for decades. The site will be repurposed as a solar farm.  She is also overseeing the redevelopment of Lincoln Beach, a historically significant recreational site. Robles was most recently the Acting Chief of Staff for the Department of Public Works. In earlier years at City Hall, she was the Outreach Manager where she managed the internal and external communications and outreach efforts for the Department of Public Works’ multi-disciplinary, citywide infrastructure improvement program.

Robles earned her accreditation in 2008 and shortly after became the Accreditation Chair for the New Orleans Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. She has served on the New Orleans board since 2001. Robles earned her bachelor’s degree from Loyola University New Orleans and a Masters in Environmental Management from Duke University. She lives in New Orleans with her beagle, Maggie, and frequent foster dog houseguests.
