Brandi Michelle Sims
Brandi Sims is the founder and CEO of Brandinc PR. For the past 14 years, Sims has gained extensive experience in handling public relations, digital marketing, graphic design, and PR event planning for her clientele. Her diverse expertise is the result of work with public figures, nonprofit organizations, government sectors, corporations as well as small to midsize businesses. Current and past clients have come from a variety of backgrounds from arts and humanities, authors, sports figures, beauty and skincare and so much more. In addition, clients have received major coverage from Forbes, ESPN, Fox News, The New Yorker, Cosmopolitan and more. Professional achievements include recognition from Davos Digital PR Awards Best PR Agency for 2021 and recipient of the Southwest Ledger 12:10 To The Top Award, recognizing young leaders helping Oklahoma become a top ten state.
In 2012, Sims earned her bachelor of arts in communications with public relations cognate from Cameron University, with a minor in psychology. She earned her master of business administration in public relations from Liberty University in 2018. Following the completion of her MBA, Sims became Project Management Professional (PMP) certified through the Institute of Veterans and Military Families from Syracuse University and Project Management Institute. Sims is a current doctoral candidate at Liberty University pursuing a Ph.D. in strategic media communications.
Sims serves on the PRSA Entertainment & Sports Section executive committee and is appointed as the board chair for the Oklahoma Women’s Coalition to represent women’s advocacy and gender equity in the State of Oklahoma. She also serves on the board of PRSA Oklahoma City Chapter, Marie Detty Youth & Family Services, Lawton Interactive Theatre, Young Professionals of Lawton, Lawton Business Women, Cameron University Respiratory’s Care Advisory Board and Comanche County Memorial Hospital TSET Healthy Living Program Advisory Council. She has served previously on the board of the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women, Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra, and Lawton Business Women.
Sims is a regular speaker, moderator and participant at conferences and events on public relations and communications. Sims is also a co-host of Amplify Afrika and Optik 21’s Mind Your Business! entrepreneurial Instagram show, and writer for L-Town Neighbors Magazine.
