Shelley Spector
Shelley Spector is founder/director of the Museum of Public Relations, the world's only museum dedicated to the PR field. Founded in 1995, the Museum is a 501(c)(3) educational institution, chartered by the State of New York.
Its collection consists of more than 2500 artifacts chronicling the century-old profession, with original papers, oral histories and photos from a variety of PR Pioneers, including Harold Burson, Edward Bernays, Doris Fleischman Bernays, Inez Kaiser, Ivy Lee and Ofield Dukes.
The Museum produces a number of diversity-themed events over the course of a year, including celebrations of Black PR History, Latino PR History, LGBTQ Experience in PR and Asian-American PR History. Its website was named the Number One most visited PR educational site in the world.
