When the pandemic hit the U.S., attention on frontline healthcare providers skyrocketed. The associations that represent them rose to the occasion, with new resources to help their clinician members provide optimal care to patients with COVID-19. In addition, they provided a voice for the profession, advocating for sufficient PPE and clinical equipment, as well as mental health and well-being resources.

They responded to an onslaught of media requests and helped keep the public informed and inspired. They also helped recognize their efforts and dedication to patients, expressing the nation’s gratitude and immense appreciation.
