Chartered in 1947, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is the world’s largest and foremost organization of public relations professionals with more than 22,000 public relations and communications professionals, in addition to more than 10,000 university and college students through the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).
PRSA provides professional development, sets standards of excellence and upholds principles of ethics for its members. We also advocate for greater understanding and adoption of public relations services, and act as one of the industry’s leading voices on the important business and professional issues of our time.
With support from thousands of PRSA members, The PRSA Foundation, an independent, 501(c)(3) charity, raises funds to fuel the passion, dreams and futures of a diverse range of ambitious and promising students. PRSA is also a founding member of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management.

Job seekers can enhance their job search through a career advice resources, such as job mentoring and an “Ask the Experts” forum that offers mentoring guidance from seasoned public relations professionals. Job seekers can post their resume for free, obtain salary advice, read career descriptions, subscribe to job feeds and job alerts and discover resume tips. PRSA Jobcenter offers employers a flat fee for any job post, as well as discounts for “niche organizations.”
