John Gregory Clemons, APR, ABC

John G. Clemons is a public relations and communications consultant, as well as an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina Charlotte and Loyola University in New Orleans.

A former journalist and magazine editor, Clemons has held managerial and executive roles at Fortune 500 companies, including AT&T, Marriott International, Raytheon Company, and Walmart. His nonprofit experience encompasses roles such as Interim Executive Director of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and Vice President of Communications at The Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies.

He is the founder and principal consultant of Clemons Communications, offering innovative communication solutions tailored to clients' needs and challenges.

Clemons has received numerous accolades for internal communications programs and creative projects from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), IABC, and Women in Communications. He holds professional accreditation from both PRSA and IABC.

Clemons earned his Bachelor's degree in news journalism and a Master's degree in communications management from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
