Maureen Walsh Chief Marketing and Sales Officer
Maureen Walsh was named Chief Marketing and Sales Officer in February 2020. In this role, Walsh directs all business development efforts in the areas of membership marketing, sales, corporate sponsorships & partnerships, and revenue sharing. She is also responsible for providing strategic leadership for marketing PRSA’s robust lineup of products and services and developing dynamic campaigns that drive increased brand awareness and membership.
She most recently served as an independent consultant, providing marketing solutions for nonprofits, NGOs, associations and small business startups. Prior to that, Walsh was Vice President of Membership & Marketing for the Craft & Hobby Association. During her tenure, she led the rebranding of the association which resulted in membership growth not seen in 10 years. Her work on the Craft & Hobby Association’s annual event also led to increased exhibitor and sponsor participation.
From 2011-2014, Walsh was Chief Executive Officer of Winn Feline Foundation. Among her many achievements, she increased donations by nearly 115%, oversaw subscriber growth for the organization’s online newsletter by 325% and converted 15% of those subscribers as new donors. Walsh also has held senior level marketing roles with Big Noodle Books, the Institute of Management Accountants and Hobart West Group.
Walsh received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Rutgers University.
