As trusted advisors, we must be physically and mentally well to help our organizations meet their objectives. A key success factor is taking time off. In 2018, American workers failed to use 768 million days of paid time off, according to the U.S. Travel Association.
Not taking our deserved time off is detrimental to our physical and psychological health, both of which are essential to help us reduce stress and thrive in our profession. How can we solve the problem of PR professionals not taking their earned time off to protect their health?
Mark Mohammadpour, APR, and certified personal trainer and health coach who lost and kept off 150 pounds more than 10 years ago, will lead a discussion on how to take guilt-free vacations that will help attendees come back with renewed energy to tackle their jobs.
This webinar is designed for PRSSA and PRSA members of all experience levels.
Upon completion of this session, participants will learn:
- Brand-new insights based on survey results from peers on their experiences with health and the workplace.
- The importance of taking time off on the mind and body.
- Tactical advice to delegate and offload your work so you can take time off while still advancing business objectives.
- How to set guardrails around availability with challenging clients and managers.
