Applications Now Being Accepted for PRSA’s 2023 Board of Directors

Applications are now open for the 2023 PRSA Board of Directors, and will be accepted through Tuesday, May 24. Click here to find the application form and other information about the nomination process including open positions, deadline dates and qualifications needed to apply. PRSA is seeking candidates to fill three Officer positions as well as Director positions for five Districts and one Director-At-Large position.

Board members meet and closely collaborate with colleagues on the local, regional and national levels, supporting efforts to champion PRSA and amplifying our value with members. Their duties and responsibilities include fiscal oversight, helping to guide and oversee PRSA’s strategic vision and goals, enhancing membership growth and serving as the face of the organization, among many other projects and programs.

Officer (one-year term)
*Chair-elect
*Treasurer
*Secretary

Director (two-year term)
*East Central District Director
*Mid-Atlantic District Director
*Northeast District Director
*Tri-State District Director
*Western District Director
*Director At-Large

Director Eligibility
*Accredited in Public Relations (APR)
*Member of PRSA in good standing and have at least one of the following:
     --Experience in a leadership role within the Society including but not limited to service as a member of a Chapter, District or Section board of directors, chair of a national or local committee or task force, or service as an Assembly delegate OR experience as a public relations or communication professional for 20 or more years, with increasing levels of responsibility.

Director-At-Large Eligibility
*Member of PRSA in good standing and have at least one of the following:
      --Experience in a leadership role within the Society including but not limited to service as a member of a Chapter, District or Section board of directors, chair of a national or local committee or task force, or service as an Assembly delegate OR experience as a public relations or communication professional for 20 or more years, with increasing levels of responsibility.

Officer Eligibility
*Must have served on PRSA’s Board of Directors.
*Must meet criteria required of a District Director.
*Currently serving Directors may seek Officer positions.
