Sarah Ninivaggi

Sarah is an Account Manager in Quinn Thomas’s Seattle office. In her role, Sarah leads strategic planning and media relations on behalf of local and national clients. She is passionate about storytelling across complex issues and finding ways to engage and impact the community.

Sarah specializes in healthcare communications with a focus on hospital and pharmaceutical clients in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. She is an expert at connecting healthcare communications programs to desired organizational and patient outcomes.

When COVID-19 struck, Washington became the epicenter of the outbreak, and local hospitals were quickly thrust into crisis mode. Sarah led external communications for a 10-hospital system, proactively providing information for local media outlets, patients, employees, and community members. Communications played an invaluable role in navigating the changing COVID-19 guidelines, while demonstrating competency and fostering trust in the health care system to ensure those who needed medical care during the emergency continued to seek it. In addition to overseeing a cadence of proactive, trustworthy updates, Sarah helped facilitate behind-the-scenes access to the health care system to demonstrate how providers were using AI tools and real-time data to make informed decisions amidst the uncertainty of the pandemic.

Sarah has a mix of in-house and agency experience, focusing on public relations, social media, and owned content creation. She is also a Prosci-certified change management professional, with experience supporting internal communications and employee engagement strategies, including mission, vision, values rollouts, issues management, and corporate integrations.

She holds a B.S. in communications from Towson University in Maryland and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Communications Leadership at the University of Washington.
