Authentically Marketing Your "Workplace" to Retain and Attract the Right Talent for Your Agency

Recent data* suggests 63% of people think working from home/anywhere is the most effective way to support workers' mental health. Yet, the same data indicates one of the top reasons to return to work is "connecting with team members."
Marketing your firm is no longer just about differentiating yourself for prospective clients but also recruiting and retaining talent who ask for prioritizing mental and physical health. Whether your agency employees work primarily in-person, hybrid, or mostly remote, it will be critical to brand your agency so you're attracting the talent that wants the same work experience you offer.

No longer is it good enough to list your values and benefits on your website; agency leaders must paint a picture of where and why your employees will be working. Some employees want to work full-time in an office; others want a hybrid; others work full-time from home.

This session will leave attendees with actionable steps to build rapport with their existing teams and position their firms for talent through a transparent and distinctive approach.

Ann Smith, owner of A.wordsmith, will share her perspective and the process she and her team have gone through over the past two years, which has included a partnership with Mark Mohammadpour, owner of Chasing the Sun.  In this session, Mark and Ann will offer insight into how agency leaders can design a successful workplace charter with the purpose of attracting and retaining great talent, based on:

-Communicating your values to your employees and retain them by including them in the process.
-Understanding the importance of establishing a position in your agency work environment.
-Learning strategies on using that position to separate yourself from other agencies and brand yourself as an agency that attracts the talent you want long term.
