All signs point to a recession in 2023. How should your communications address this looming threat?

Keep in mind that recessions don’t affect all industries the same way or have an equal impact on every area of the country. For example, according to the Kiplinger Letter, sales of lower-priced luxury items such as cosmetics and liquor rise during recessions. People buy these more affordable indulgences instead of making major purchases on luxury vehicles or boats. 

For professional futurists, the No. 1 rule is not to make assumptions. But here are some trends that I believe PR professionals should keep on their radar screens for the coming year.
