The Great Return

We’ve all heard about the Great Resignation.
But do you know about the Great Return?

Former members of PRSA are returning to the most essential professional network for strategic communicators.

The world has changed significantly in the past few years and PRSA members have responded to the change by leading essential conversations, business decisions and public outreach on critical and timely business and societal matters.

Since 2020, we have seen internal communicators launch employee communications plans in a remote work environment, healthcare communicators providing life and death messaging to a desperate public, CEOs announcing significant commitments to social activism on the advice of their CCOs, and our peers working in hospitality and entertainment sectors protecting their brand reputations as the pandemic undermined their businesses. PRSA members have been on the front lines doing the heavy lifting to keep Americans and others around the globe informed, updated and comforted.

Strategic communicators have had to accelerate their knowledge of crisis communications, navigate the complexities of increased social activism and ESG requirements in large and small businesses and brands and re-engineer their approach to reputation management.

PRSA has responded with new programming and expanded resources to support our valued members in challenging times and beyond.

What’s New at PRSA?

PRSA launched Affinity Groups intended to serve as a convening method for like-minded members to meet (virtually), share ideas, and build networks and relationships. Two Affinity Groups have been introduced:  Black Voices and Hispanic-Latino Groups.

PRSA is proud to present Diverse Dialogues, a series of conversations with leaders in the profession about Diversity and Inclusion and the way forward.
