PRSA Chair Jane Dvorak was quoted in an article in Fortune after issuing a statement on “Alternative Factssurrounding recent comments by President Donald Trump’s counselor Kellyanne Conway with regard to White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s use of “alternative facts” to dispute the documented reality that Trump amassed a smaller audience at his inauguration than former President Barack Obama.

“Encouraging and perpetuating the use of alternative facts by a high-profile spokesperson reflects poorly on all communications professionals,” stated Dvorak.
