Applications are now open for the 2022 PRSA Board of Directors, and will be accepted through Tuesday, May 25.

PRSA, the nation’s leading professional organization serving the communications community, announced today that it has partnered with the Puerto Rico Public Relations Association (PRPRA) to provide mutually beneficial professional development, educational and career opportunities for members of each respective organization.

The program addresses the lack of diversity in the public relations industry, by pairing 50 students of diverse backgrounds with professional mentors that can provide valuable guidance as they launch into their careers.

Ben Butler is the founder of Top Hat, an award-winning design and marketing communications agency in Pittsburgh and St. Petersburg, Florida. Rick Callender is CEO of Valley Water in Santa Clara, California, where he has worked for 25 years.

The pair of California universities marks 26 schools affiliated with PRSSA in the state and join nearly 375 PRSSA Chapters worldwide.
