Milagros Orcoyen

Milagros Orcoyen graduated from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in December 2024 with a degree in Public Relations and Institutional Communication.

She served as the 2024-2025 International President of PRSSA, a role she considers the greatest honor of her life. During her tenure, she worked alongside an incredible Committee to uphold PRSSA’s offerings while spearheading new initiatives. These included renaming the National Committee to the International Committee, introducing Spanish-language content and video podcasts, launching PRSSA’s first-ever Chapter Development Committee, and publishing key resources such as the High School Outreach Guide and Career Resources Manual. Milagros is excited to continue supporting the organization as Immediate Past President.

Beyond her PRSSA involvement, Milagros is dedicated to making an impact in her community. She currently serves as the Coordinator of Events and Public Relations for the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), where she plays a pivotal role in planning and executing the annual Latin American conference, co-hosted by ISPE Affiliates in Argentina, Mexico, and Brazil. Her responsibilities include managing event logistics, coordinating communications, and fostering relationships with industry leaders to ensure a successful and impactful event.

Her commitment to service extends to various organizations. She volunteers at GEO, the sustainable development center at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), and contributes as a writer for The Jane Goodall Institute Argentina. Additionally, she is actively involved in the Professional Council for Public Relations of Argentina, further reinforcing her dedication to the field.

Outside of her professional and volunteer work, Milagros enjoys listening to music, cycling, and taking long walks.
