Vice President of Professional Standards
Magali Corrales
Magali Corrales, the 2026–2027 Vice President of Professional Standards for PRSSA, is a junior at UADE majoring in Public Relations and Institutional Communications while pursuing a minor in Integrated Communications. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Magali is passionate about building meaningful connections through ethical leadership, communication, and global collaboration.
She joined PRSSA as a freshman in 2024, starting as a delegate for the Member Services Committee, where she quickly fell in love with both her career path and the PRSSA community. Within PRSSA, she was later elected PR Officer for her chapter’s Executive Board and helped organize two District Conferences. During her term as PR Officer, she led her chapter’s recruitment campaign, resulting in more than 60 new members joining by the end of the year. She also focused heavily on member engagement, community-building activities, and ensuring all members had equal access to opportunities both within and beyond the chapter experience.
Magali served as Director of Programming for the 2026 District Conference 2026: Next Gen PR, where she led speaker outreach, panel coordination, and overall programming strategy. This experience strengthened her passion for leadership, collaboration, and international member engagement. She also attended ICON 2025 and Leadership Assembly 2026, experiences that further inspired her involvement within PRSSA and the communications industry.
Outside of campus, Magali completed an internship at Porter Novelli, working alongside the beauty brands team for Natura and Avon. She also volunteered as an interpreter for an Argennova event sponsored by John Maxwell, combining her passion for communication with cross-cultural engagement.
When she’s not involved in PRSSA projects, you can find Magali traveling, reading books about almost any topic she can get her hands on or rewatching classic films like Star Wars and The Breakfast Club.
