Diana Hernandez
Diana Hernandez is originally from Sayreville, New Jersey and is currently a senior at Waynesburg University. She is majoring in Public Relations with a concentration in Electronic Media.
As a freshman, Diana was eager to join her local PRSSA Chapter at Waynesburg University. Since then, she has been an active member of the Chapter being elected Media Relations Coordinator in her sophomore year and then President in her junior year. In her time in PRSSA Diana has led multiple social media initiatives, speaking events, fundraisers, and was recently recognized by PRSA Pittsburgh for her social media campaign focused on environmental awareness.
Outside of PRSSA, she serves as the social media manager for multiple communication organizations at Waynesburg University. She is currently in her fourth year of serving as the social media director for Waynesburg Community Television (WCTV) and the Waynesburg University Sports Network (WUSN). She also enjoys producing WCTV’s pop culture show, which she has worked on for the last three years. Here she expresses her love of movies, music, and fashion. You can also hear her voice multiple times a week as a radio host on WCYJ FM.
In her free time, Diana enjoys traveling, playing guitar, and being an avid fan of Marvel comics. Diana is very excited to share engaging communication initiatives and connect with PRSSA members from all over the world!
