Vice President of Member Services

Mackenzie Smith is a senior at The Ohio State University majoring in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing and a minor in Communications.

Since joining PRSSA her freshman year, she has loved helping students feel welcomed and involved within the organization. She previously served as Secretary of the PRSSA Chapter at Ohio State during her sophomore year before completing her term as President during her junior year.

Throughout her time at Ohio State, Mackenzie has completed multiple internships, including a summer marketing internship at BBI Logistics and a fall public relations internship at MediaSource.

Although she has lived in Columbus her whole life, she is passionate about global communications and gaining new perspectives through international experiences. She completed a month-long consulting project in Stockholm, Sweden and gained international agency experience through a summer internship with SivanS in Tokyo, Japan. She believes some of the best opportunities in college come from getting involved and putting yourself in new environments.

Outside of PRSSA, she loves traveling, reading and trying new restaurants. She also loves meeting new people, hearing their stories and helping students feel more confident as they navigate college and their careers.

Mackenzie is excited to serve as the Vice President of Member Services. She can’t wait to help members feel connected and encourage them to take advantage of all the opportunities PRSSA provides.
