Vice President of Belonging, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

Isidora Ramírez Mauna

Isidora Ramírez Mauna, the 2026–2027 Vice President of Belonging, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, is a senior at Brigham Young University pursuing a degree in public relations with a minor in French.

Originally from Santiago de Chile, Isi brings an international perspective to her leadership through her experiences living in three countries and speaking three languages. As an international student, she is passionate about helping others feel represented, valued, and connected within the PRSSA community.

She joined PRSSA in 2024 after returning from an 18-month volunteer service experience and discovering her passion for public relations through an introductory PR class. Since then, she has become deeply involved in her Chapter. She served as the 2025-2026 Vice President of Marketing for BYU PRSSA, where she increased social media engagement by more than 250%, established the Chapter’s first marketing committee, and created its first official brand kit and style guide. She also introduced multicultural student and faculty spotlights to better highlight the program's diverse voices.

One of the most meaningful experiences of her PRSSA journey was helping lead BYU’s team to first place in the 2025 Bateman Case Study Competition. Over six months, she worked alongside her team to develop and execute a national campaign for a real-world client, strengthening her passion for strategic communication, collaboration, and purpose-driven storytelling. Isi considers it a privilege to serve the PRSSA community and contribute to an organization that has shaped both her professional and personal growth.

Outside of campus involvement, Isidora has completed internships with Finn Partners on the Corporate Social Responsibility team, where she supported organizations focused on sustainable community impact and social good initiatives. She has also worked with Materna Foundation, supporting donor outreach and marketing efforts to provide educational opportunities for children and resources for young mothers in Central America. Additionally, she has served as a Marketing Assistant for BYU OnStage, promoting university artistic performances and guest artist events.

Beyond her professional experience, Isi volunteers weekly at a local food coalition center in Provo, supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, and has participated as section leader for her university’s annual Latino cultural event.

When she is not replying to emails, Isi enjoys spending time with her husband, trying new recipes, and singing in concerts.
