Vice President of Member Services

Ava Kendrena, 2023-2024 Vice President of Member Services, is a senior at California State University, Fullerton. She is majoring in Public Communications with a concentration in Public Relations, and minoring in American Studies.

Kendrena got involved with PRSSA during her first year at CSUF to grow both professionally and socially in the public relations field. Throughout her time as a member of the CSUF PRSSA chapter, Kendrena has served on the digital communications and administration committees, led a team as the Account Executive for Titan Public Relations, CSUF PRSSA’s Nationally affiliated student-run PR firm, and joined the executive board as the VP of Administration for CSUF PRSSA.

Outside of PRSSA, Kendrena currently works as a Social Media and Communications Assistant for Associated Students Inc. at California State University, Fullerton. In this position, Ava creates content to spread awareness about campus programming and thinks of creative ways to highlight student life on all of ASI’s social media platforms. Given her background as a Communications (public relations) major, Ava has excelled in this position due to her knowledge of how to curate content to meet specific audience needs and her ability to utilize trends to increase engagement.

In her spare time, Kendrena enjoys going to concerts, trying new coffee places, and spending time with her dog!

Kendrena is excited to serve as the 2023-2024 Vice President of Member Services and she hopes to build more cross-chapter connections and help chapters across the United States and South America develop ideas to grow their membership.
